1. Kick a workout pledge's butt. 40 minutes of cardio--high intensity intervals on the bike, treadmill, and stairs (I have SERIOUS exercise ADD--I have to change it up a lot) with 47 bonus push ups. Note that you all "only" got me up to 39 minutes, but I added a minute just to make it all pretty and even.
Well, you can see how it ended.
Maybe pretty isn't the right word.
2. Step on the scale (did I really just say that?). Saturday mornings are weigh-in time. The last time I weighed myself was five days ago on Monday. I'm happy to report that I'm down 4.6 L-B's from Monday.
I'll own that.
When's your weigh-in day? Whenever it is, I hope you plan to own it.
My weigh in day is Wednesday. Yes, I own it. So far, so good. And congratulations to you! Keep it up.
ReplyDelete4.6 lbs in 5 days? You go, girl! I'm battling a hideous cold, so I'm giving myself a break until I can breathe again, but I think my weigh-in days will be Thursdays.
ReplyDeleteYou are awesome, Jace! I am so sorry I didn't comment yesterday...I was trying to do all the things you asked to add time, but had a little baby crying (or screaming, rather) to hold him, so I had to put the computer down! I will make sure I do the next one though! Way to go! I am so proud of you for doing this!
ReplyDeletewow awesome!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI started a Biggest Loser contest on Jan. 7. I lost 4 pounds in the first 2 weeks with just diet and no exercise. So this week I started working out. I weighed myself this morning and I have gained a pound back! :( It's not for lack of trying, though. They say sometimes when you start exercising your body holds on to the fat because it's freaking out from such a big change. Let's hope that's true. You are inspiring me to hang in there and work even harder! I'm going to start a Zumba class next week!! Thanks for the motivation!
